Spectrum Provisions Part of Payroll Tax Legislation
After weeks of contentious debate, Congress recently reached an agreement on payroll tax extension legislation which would include voluntary incentive actions and the development of a public safety network. The agreement reallocates the “D-Block” for public safety use and directs a share of future auction proceeds, up to $7 billion, to support development of the network.
